Tuesday Evening Mixed (6:30 pm & 9:00 pm)

This is the Club's most competitive traditional mixed league, using 5 flights and a win/loss scoring system. Sign up early for this section as it always fills its 25-team complement. If you don't have a team, there is a "free agent" sign-up to match those wishing to join the league and those teams missing members.

Wednesday Evening Women's (6:30 pm & 9:00 pm)

Wednesday Women's section is a competitive, team entry league open to women of all levels.  While the league is classified as competitive it is also social and we have several events throughout the season to have fun off the ice too.  Teams play four series through the regular season in four different flights; at the end of each series teams move up and down between flights dependent upon results.  Playoffs are double knockout with the main draw consisting of the top 18 regular season teams and a fifth event for the last six teams.

Friday Evenings (5:00 pm, 7:00 pm & 9:00 pm)

This league is designed to combine good curling and social fun! Teams are assigned by the "luck of the draw." After a half-season, teams are drawn again, so this is the best section to join to meet fellow curlers, or if you are new to curling and don't want to face the heat of competition just yet!

Saturday Social Mixed (6:30pm & 9:00pm)

This entry-level section of the club is perfect for new and experienced curlers. The emphasis on Saturday nights is learning the game and having fun. Individual and team skills are developed both on and off the ice through clinics and game play. Our weekly games are six ends, and members are assigned to teams with the goals of creating teams of equal calibre and maximizing the number of different people that play together on a team over each of three series. The final series culminates with a playoff run and championship evening. Several social events and theme nights are organized throughout the year to keep the focus on fun and friendship.

Monday Open (3:45 pm)

Our league is mostly composed of current and former teachers.  Some of our players have many years of experience and some are brand new to curling.  We have an annual bonspiel in late March or early April with the teachers league based at East York and finish with our own internal playoffs.

Day Men’s Section (11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.)

The Day Men’s Section presents a curling venue that includes all skill levels: from novice to some of the Club’s most experienced curlers.  The Afternoon Draw (1:00 p.m.) is Tag format; the Drawmaster(s) place each attending curler on a team in the appropriate position based on skill level and experience.  The Morning Draw (11:00 a.m.) is Fixed Team format; the Drawmaster develops teams from the list of curlers who have signed up for that session of round-robin play of the Morning Draw.  New teams are drawn up from those curlers who sign up for the next session.

Each week, a 2-dollar raffle is held on both Draws; the proceeds are used to fund the weekly prizes and the prizes for our Christmas and Year End “Days of Curling”.

The Day Men’s Section is committed to providing a fun, friendly and non-judgemental environment that fosters an atmosphere of fellowship and respect for others.  DMS curlers are expected to conduct themselves in the spirit of positive sportsmanship and fair play and to refrain from any behaviour (physical actions; verbal comments; body language) that may be deemed to be detrimental to the enjoyment of any other curler on or off the ice.

Start Date: September 28th, 2022

U12 Little Rocks (Ages 7-11, Birth years 2013-2018) (Sundays 9:15 AM)

Start Date: October 2024

Whether their parents curl, or they have seen curling on TV, joining the Little Rocks section gives children the chance to play the sport of curling. Using lighter, smaller curling rocks, kids learn the game while having fun in a supportive environment. Each week, time is spent on the ice practicing skills, learning the ins and outs of the game and of course a few ends are played. Adult High Park Club curlers volunteer their time to help coach the section because they love the game and want to help foster the next generation of curlers. Curlers must provide their own helmet. A bicycle, hockey, skating or skiing helmet is appropriate. Curlers must also bring a pair of clean running shoes. The club provides brushes and sliders.
